Positions Sought

My name is Samuel Schabel. I am very interested in any open positions available for a teacher and/or basketball coach for the upcoming school year. I have a Bachelor of Arts in Philosophy (with a minor concentration in Biblical Studies & Greek) from Dallas Baptist University, and have extensive knowledge of the game of basketball. I attended Lake Dallas High school, where I played varsity basketball, was an FCA leader and speaker, and assisted with basketball camps for elementary and middle school aged basketball players in the Lake Dallas Independent School District. I also attended and earned awards at the summer basketball camps held at the University of Kansas, led by coach Bill Self, and the Texas Tech University basketball camp, led by coach Bob Knight. Throughout high school, college, and after graduating I have served as a homegroup leader, small group leader, and house leader for multiple ministries including, but not limited to: Disciple Now's, SPIN weekends, Super Summer Texas Baptist Church Camp, Panfork Baptist Encampment, Spirit Horse, Christian Community Action, and Mission Arlington. I turned down some offers to play basketball at the collegiate level to focus more on academics at the time, and work to pay my way through school. Since graduating from college I have played in recreational leagues and continued to follow the game of basketball very closely. My wife and I also serve as leaders for the children's ministry of Vintage Church Allen; where I have also helped to develop curriculum for the children's ministry and adult membership curriculum, as well as occasionally fill in to preach on Sundays for our lead pastor. I speak and teach occasionally for student ministries, youth groups, and missions ministry training.

 I am very serious about pursuing a teaching and/or coaching position at a Christian school in the Dallas-Fort Worth area this fall. I want to use my gifts and talents to help mentor and train young students to know more of Christ and live a Christ-centered life in the classroom, on the court, at home, and everywhere in between. God's Word would be the authoritative structure of my teaching and coaching career. I continue to be in God's Word daily, am very involved with a local church, and am pursuing a closer relationship with Christ to lead by example to my future students.

Looking for a football assistant coaching position. I am looking for a opportunity to coach the game that I have so much passion for share the knowledges and wisdom to young athletes that I have had the opportunity to experience. I'm a young enthused ex-football player 1 year removed from the CFL camp where I had a opportunity to showcase my talents.

My name is Anthony Wells. I am very interested in any open positions you have for a basketball coach/teacher for the upcoming school year. I have my BA in Kinesiology and have extensive knowledge on the game of basketball. I went to Mesquite High school where I was named  MVP of district 12-5A my senior year. I played at Eastfield junior college for 2 years. Then received a full-ride scholarship to Division 1 Master's College in Los Angeles, California, which is very well known for their teaching in Christ and Scripture. I was a head coach for US Basketball University in Valencia, California for 2 seasons before returning home. I currently am working on my alternative certification program and am looking to join a Christian school/program in the fall. I want to use His word as the structure of my teaching career. I continue to stay in the word to be able to lead by example to my future students.

My name is Kevin Lusson. I am a 23 year old just out of college and looking for a coaching job for baseball. I played four years at the University of Texas and have played professionally the last two summers with Independent Baseball teams. My only coaching experience is with a 12 year old select team in Austin, as well as UT baseball camps and private lessons. However, with my college and professional baseball experience, I feel I have acquired the knowledge necessary to coach kids at the high school level. More importantly, I am very strong in my faith and believe my purpose is to coach the game I love.

My name is Mike Kunkel and I have 17 years of educational experience in public, charter and private schools. I have created two band programs at two different schools. My name is Larry Dearen and I am looking for a full time teaching and coaching poistion for the school year 2013.
I am looking for a Christian school where they may need a AP World History, U.S. History, Physical Ed or Health to teach.
Also I have my Texas Principal Certification from Tarleton State Universty which I did my internship at Georgetown
Independent School District. I got my Advanced Placement Certification from Texas Chrisitan University.
I have coached football at the College and high school level, mainly defense, and in Basketball have a Head Girls Basketball
Coach for 10 years and also a Varsirty Boys Assistant Coach. In Track & Field, I have been a Head Girls Coach for 16 years and Boys 8 years. In Football coach in Confernece Champonship, and many varsity championship games. In Basketball was selected to coach Womens USA Team in World Scholars Game 2000 and also been a Texas ALL Star Coach. I am Chip Durden, seeking a position as both a teacher and coach in a Christian school. I have coached baseball, football and basketball in the past. I moved to Texas recently and am working on my M. Ed. in history/social studies as well as aTexas teacher certification at Houston Baptist. Should I find a job, I will continue this educational pursuit in the summers and online. I have a B.S. in history.

 I played college baseball, worked as a contract coach, served the FCA, was a college intramural director, and taught some in my life. I am looking to find my calling as a teacher-coach in a Christian School.

My name is Jo Ann Schmidhausler. I have a passion for teaching in a Christ-centered environment. I worked in a private school for almost seven years until I stayed home to help my children get over the hump of a new chapter in their lives. I have a BA in Social Studies (Science), six years of substitute teaching along with assisting teachers in the classroom. I passed the Texas Certification EC-6 generalist. I have substituted for Fort Worth Christian, Saint George Catholic School, Saint Elizabeth Ann Seton Catholic School, and Harvest Christian Academy. Currently, I tutor with a company and privately.
